CANDLE SAFETY RULES;
- Always keep a burning candle within sight.
- Be sure to extinguish all candles when leaving a room or before going to sleep.
- Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire.
- Burn candles away from furniture, curtains, bedding, carpets, books, paper, flammable decorations, etc.
- Keep lit candles out of the reach of children and pets.
- Trim candlewicks to ¼ inch each time before burning. Trimming the wicks will keep the candle burning without any black soot and it will give your candle a longer burn time.
- Always use a candle-holder specifically designed for candle use.
- Be sure the candle-holder is placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Always burn candles in a well-ventilated room.
